I grew up in Mumbai and moved to New Zealand in 2019 to pursue postgraduate studies in design.
Like a lot of immigrant students, I worked a few odd jobs before I finally landed a role as a graphic designer, and worked as a designer for over seven years.
Somewhere along that journey, I realized I wanted to build something more meaningful. Something that truly connected to my cultural roots.
I’ve always been passionate about art, spending years illustrating and painting. Inspired by Indian art and tradition, I poured my passion into Mitti, blending creativity and art into everyday wear.
